ASRock X570 PG Velocita Launch and Updates

The ASRock X570 PG Velocita is announced, in line with AMD’s recent launch of the Ryzen 5000 series of desktop CPUs. Prior to this, a X570 Phantom Gaming model is currently available; however, the PG Velocita will be an evolution of that.

First change comes with the updated Phantom Gaming logo for the X570 PG Velocita. While we can expect PCIe 4.0 support, enhancements to this model now include Killer Ethernet and Wifi. This provides an even more robust and improved online gaming experience.

Killer Wireless and Killer Ethernet

ASRock X570 PG Velocita has both Killer E3100 and Killer AX1650 which support Killer Prioritization Engine and Killer DoubleShot Pro. This offers the most reliable networking experience for this line of motherboard from ASRock. The Killer Prioritization Engine can identify thousands of games, applications and websites. It can then prioritize real time packets over other packets and making games its first priority. This reduces interruptions or lags while playing.

Killer DoubleShot Pro is a technology for systems that have both Killer Wireless and Killer Ethernet products. This allows the computer to have both WiFi and Ethernet running at the same time. It will automatically prioritize the fastest network connection for the PC’s applications that uses the highest traffic and delegate the slower connection to be used by the lower traffic apps.

Gamer-Centric Features for Incredible Performance

For AMD Ryzen seriece CPUs, the X570 PG Velocita provides 14Digi Power Phase and 50A Dr.Mos; offering a smooth power delivery during OC. It also has two Hyper M.2 sockets with full coverage heat sink for up to Gen4 x4 (64Gbps) M.2 SSDs. This ensures the SSDs can work at full capacity and have longer lifespans. And with PCIe 4.0 slots for GPUs, it will ensure that the latest GPUs will be able to run in its full potential.

With Polychrome RGB, ASRock provides the medium to control the built-in LEDs or any connected LED strips, CPU Fans, coolers or chassis RGB lights smoothly. There are a combination of 3-pin Addressable RGB and 4-pin RGB headers on the X570 PG Velocita.

New BIOS Updates for B450 Motherboards to support AMD Ryzen 5000 Series

As mentioned in a previous release, ASRock has support for existing B450 motherboards that will upgrade to the new AMD Ryzen 5000 Series CPUs. The following motherboards will have updated BIOS version and will need to be updated if the user upgrades to the Ryzen 5000 series.
