Realme has quickly become the brand to buy—especially in the entry-level segment. It’s quite a young brand that has built itself an impressive and diverse portfolio of smartphones, smart watches, earphones, and other devices—we’re not all too surprised that they’ve now decided to release a tablet. An expert when it comes to stylishly merging great specs with unbelievable price points in their smartphones, we’re excited to see what Realme has put together for the Realme Pad which is set to launch on the 21st.

Unboxing the Realme Pad
At first glance, one might mistake the box of the Realme Pad for a certain rival’s. Instead of its trademark bright yellow and grey palette, the box features an all-white minimalistic look. There are no frills when you unbox the Realme Pad. In the box, you can find an 18W fast-charging power adaptor, USB-C cable, user manual, and SIM ejector pin.
The tablet itself follows the same design identity with its clean lines and ultra-slim metallic body, which we love. At the back, it’s a sleek pane of aluminum alloy—sandblasted for a deliciously smooth texture that doesn’t pick up prints. There’s a small realme logo to the lower right and its 8MP rear camera juts out from the upper left corner. The look is finished by a thin metal band that is slightly indented into the metal that runs along the side and over the top and bottom edges.
Highlights
The Realme Pad comes with several nifty features, and we’ll go through the highlights quickly for now. First, it comes with plenty of screen, you get a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array Plus) display with a 2K resolution. There’s also the 7,100 mAh cell which the brand says can sit for up to 65 days on standby or 12 hours of watching videos. You also get a a quad-speaker set-up with Dolby Atmos surround sound—a binge-watching must!
Inside, there’s a Helio G80 processor which should be enough to manage daily tasks, casual gaming, and video watching. On the software side, you get Realme’s new UI for tablets (with Android 11) which gives you a bunch of cool ioT connectivity features.
The Realme Pad looks to be an all-around hitter—there’s a little something for everyone’s needs. It’s officially announced to come with two storage options: 3GB +32GB /4GB +64GB. Watch out for our full review dropping soon, with everything you will need to know and more about the Realme Pad.
