For the Brave: Huawei Launches Honor 6 Plus, 4X, and 4C

“For the brave” is Huawei’s official catchphrase, and the company puts this to practice with last night’s launch of the Honor 6 Plus, a revolutionary device which aims to be your go-to camera phone with its dual parallel 8MP cameras.

Huawei Honor 6 Plus

Tagged as the “King of Bokeh and Nightshots”, the Honor 6 Plus’ dual rear cameras work symmetrically to capture more light and to better gauge depth of field. It’s powered by a 2.5 image processor engine that promises next-level, high-definition shots capable of long exposures and noise reduction.

This unique feature isn’t only what makes the Honor 6 Plus shine. It has a 5.5-inch, Corning Gorilla Glass-protected IPS LCD display going at a resolution of 1080 x 1920 with a screen ratio of 78.2 percent and only 2.8mm bezels. Beneath it runs an octa-core Kirin 925 chipset clocking at 1.8GHz supported by 3GBs of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. To support these specs, the Honor 6 Plus has been fitted with a 3,600mAh battery.

The Honor 4X has a 5.5-inch display while the 4C goes slightly smaller at 5 inches. The 4X also supports 4G/LTE while the 4C has 3G connectivity.
