Gigabyte RTX 3070 Released

Gigabyte RTX 3070  has been launched last October 29. Powered by NVIDIA Ampere architecture, Gigabyte releases five variants of the RTX 3070 GPUs catering different customers. These five variants are: AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 Master 8G, GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC 8G, GeForce RTX 3070 Vision OC 8G, and GeForce RTX 3070 Eagle OC 8G. We’ll go over each of these cards separately.

Aourus Master

Gigabyte RTX 3070

Like the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 models, the Aorus RTX 3070 Master features the MAX-Covered cooling shroud and heatsink. It features 3x 100mm unique blade stack fans with wind claw design. It has an alternating spin, allowing for even air pressure to flow through the heatsink. A large heatsink design allows for a wider heat dissipation, unlike its previous generation. With a big copper plate and seven composite heat-pipes making up the heatsink; heat coming from the GPU and VRAM is quickly dissipated. Aorus RTX 3070 Master includes an LCD monitor providing information. It can be set to enthusiastic mode, text mode, image mode and GIF mode.

Through RGB Fusion 2.0, we can set the lighting effects as well as the LCD display content. If we are using other AORUS components on our PC it will synchronize these for a themed lighting setup.

For output, it features six video output connectors (3x HDMI and 3x DisplayPort). The GPU board has an aerospace-grade PCB coating, and comes equipped with Dual BIOS for two modes of operation. And as with all Gigabyte products, has Ultra Durable certified components. This is the recommended model for enthusiasts who want both performance and RGB theming.

Gaming OC

Gigabyte RTX 3070

Gigabyte Windforce 3X cooling system with 3x unique alternate spinning blade fans come standard in this model line. Along with composite copper heat piped, direct touch GPU, 3D active fan and screen cooling aid in high efficiency heat dissipation. These features allow for efficient heat dissipation, resulting in stable performance. Screen cooling extends the heatsink to let air pass through, improving heat dissipation more. The fans have graphene nano lubricant which extends the fans’ lifespan by 2.1 times, close to the life of a double ball bearing fan.

Not as flashy as the Aorus Master, but RGB Fusion 2.0 sets the lighting of the GPU and synchronize with other Aorus or Gigabyte components. Gaming OC is the best choice for mainstream gamers focusing more on the performance aspect.

Vision OC

Gigabyte RTX 3070

Having the same cooling design as the Gaming OC, Vision OC however differs by having a minimalistic approach with its shroud design. It focuses more on creators or users who opt for a clean white design on their builds.

Eagle OC

Gigabyte RTX 3070

For the budget conscious gamer or builder, the Eagle OC focuses more on the cooling aspect of the GPU compared to the Gaming OC. This Gigabyte RTX 3070 GPU  uses a mix of solid and transparent shroud elements to show the inner workings of the GPU.

Availability

Right now, Gigabyte RTX 3070 GPUs are available in the Philippines.
