This is not a mobility post but it’s something I really use to post my blog entries. When I moved to my own room last month, my problem was the internet connection. I was already using my 3G/HSDPA SIM but I made a mistake with my subscription so I cannot use it that much. Fortunately, a former housemate of mine was keen on getting a free HP TX1000 Entertainment Notebook with a new Broadband Subscription. He doesn’t need the broadband connection as they already have one at home, but paying the S$90+ per month is quite heavy for their budget. Since I need the connection badly, I made a deal with him that I’ll get the broadband connection but only pay half of the monthly rates for the next 30 months. He agreed, and so I got my internet here at home.

And I only pay around S$40 per month! Good deal, isn’t it?
