HTC Desire Eye: The Ultimate Selfie Phone

HTC Desire Eye in Red

HTC has just unveiled the phone beats all other phones in the selfie arena.

The HTC Desire Eye made its debut in New York a few hours ago, and it comes with 13MP cameras at the front and the back. That’s 13 whopping megapixels fully equipped with autofocus and LED flash for your selfies, making it the phone with the most powerful front-facing camera in the market.

However, the HTC Desire Eye is more than just its cameras. It’s an LTE phone running on a Sense 6-enhanced Android 4.4 KitKat, with a 2.3GHz quad-core Krain 400 purring under its IPX7 water-resistant hood. The screen measures 5.2 inches working at a respectable 423ppi pixel density, and it comes with 16GB of memory out of the box, which is expandable to 128GB via microSD.

The HTC Desire Eye is positioned as a mid-range phone, but we’re still to get details on when it’ll be sold locally and for how much. With the Philippines supposedly being the “selfie capital of the world”, it’s not too far-fetched to think that HTC’s newest innovation will be a big hit.
