Intel recently revealed its 5th Generation Intel Core Processors that will power future smartphones, tablets, and hybrid laptops.

These processors boast of “22 percent better graphics processing, 50 percent faster video conversion, and up to 1.5 hours more battery life” than its predecessors.

The company also showcased two new products: the Intel Next Level of Computing (NUC), and the Intel Compute Stick.

The Intel NUC puts the power of a fully-customizable CPU in the palm of your hand — literally. This small but powerful device aims to let every one experience 5th Generation processors even while on-the-go.

With the same goal of making Intel processors more handy, the Intel Compute Stick is a plug-and-play mini-PC no bigger than a thumb drive. It’s powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor and even comes with a microSD slot and a USB port. The Compute Stick features Windows 8.1 or Linux out-of-the-box.

“I’m very excited with the possibilities that the 5th Generation Intel Core processors opens up for the country, particularly how it will revolutionize the way Filipinos consume technology,” said Calum Chisholm, Intel Philippines Country Manager. “The introduction of smaller but more powerful and affordable devices carrying the latest Intel Core processors allows us to provide solutions that help empower Filipino users and contribute to the continued development of the Philippine digital landscape.”
