Lenovo Smartphones Back in PH Market Plus New Smart Home Devices

Lenovo smartphones are back in the Philippine market with the launch of their newest phone models: the Lenovo K5 Play, the Lenovo K5 Pro, and the Lenovo S5 Pro! This new development continues with their first-ever release of smart home devices roster consisting of a robot vacuum cleaner, a smart home hub connected to Google Assistant, and a 2-in-1 tablet hybrid.

Lenovo also introduced a smart home lineup, a first for Lenovo PH. All of which are still part of Lenovo’s 2020 Summer Sale. This 2020, Lenovo is going strong with their new AI-technology integration on their devices. Definitely a new venture for Lenovo, their new units also aim to open up possibilities for users.

Lenovo smartphones 2020 lineup focuses on two things—power and value. The Lenovo K5 Play, the Lenovo K5 Pro, and the Lenovo S5 promises a brand new entry-level smartphone experience with advanced chipsets and multiple camera setups.

First is the Lenovo K5 Play decked in a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen, with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 Octa-core chipset, with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, it hosts dual cameras 13MP (f/2.2) main and a 2MP lens. As for selfies, the front holds an 8MP F/2.0 front camera. The Lenovo K5 Play retails for only PHP 3,990, a good entry price even for the budget category.

The Lenovo K5 Pro on the other hand is a 5.99-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2160) smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 636 octa-core chipset. This SoC is paired with a sizeable 4GB/6GB memory and 64GB of internal storage. Similarly, it also has dual cameras of a 16MP main and a 5MP lens on both the rear and front. The front has an extra flash included. Other features include a 4050 mAh battery with 18W QuickCharge 3.0 support, USB Type-C connectivity, and a rear fingerprint sensor. It starts for only PHP 5,990, a price tag worth a second look.

The Lenovo smartphones line goes bigger than the last with the Lenovo S5 Pro’s 6.2-inch IPS LCD screen. It garners a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels, making it capable of awesome visuals. It’s fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 Octa-core then supported with 4GB/6GB of RAM + 64GB/128GB of internal storage, and Adreno 509 for graphics. Cameras on this phone are also decently sized with 12MP F/1.8 + 20MP F/2.6 rear cameras and 20MP F/2.2 + 8MP front cameras. Moreover, it upgrades on security with a side mounted fingerprint and an included infrared face unlock. It’s also with a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The Lenovo S5 Pro can be yours starting at only PHP 7,495!

Moving forward from these smartphones is Lenovo’s first ever smart home devices in the Philippines! Designed to assist families in the most efficient way possible, Lenovo introduce a wide variety of accessories.

The biggest of which is the Lenovo Smart Tabs. Offered in three variants; Lenovo Smart Tab M8 (starts at PHP 8,490), M10 HD (starts at PHP 9,990), and M10 FHD Plus (starts at PHP 13,990). All function as smart home hubs via Google Assistant which controls home segments such as lights, outlets, and the likes. These devices can also be controlled through voice with its dual front-facing speakers and dual microphones powered by Dolby Atmos.

Additionally these hubs come with a Smart Charging Station (worth PHP 2,995) for free! The Lenovo M10 HD and M10 FHD both come with an extra USB Type-C 2.0 ports for extra connectivity. Meanwhile, if those features aren’t enough there’s also a Lenovo Smart Tab (PHP 14,990) variant with a built-in kickstand and a three-digital-mic array. It has a 360 far-field voice recognition which allows flexibility where your voice commands can come from.

There’s also the 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet hybrid, the popular D330 with detachable display. It starts at PHP 14,995 and can get up to the Intel Pentium Silver N5000 processor and the Windows 10 Home operating system.

Back to home-based accessories, next is the Lenovo’s Robot Vacuum T and E series. These function as normal vacuums, sweeping and cleaning the floor, but enhanced with Lenovo’s AI-integration. Lenovo’s Robot Vacuum T and E series can all be controlled and customized through the Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. However, more practically, these are equipped with an automatic disposal system, making it truly an independent cleaner. That’s the end of smart home devices but Lenovo’s not done yet. They’ve also introduced new Lenovo accessories to assist in the everyday life.

Lenovo’s HE08 Neckband Headset (PHP 1,495), HD 100 Wireless Headset (PHP 1,995), and HT28 TWS Buds (starts at PHP 2,495) are all options to choose from for audio. These are all with Bluetooth 4.2 support giving you the assurance of a stable connection between buds and device. The HT28 TWS Buds can even last up to 6 hours of playback, accompanying you to spend time comfortable with its ergonomic design. Plus, it’s waterproof to conveniently use anywhere and everywhere.
