Apple did not disappoint with the iPad releases. The hype’s definitely real for the upcoming 2020 iPhone 12 Pro Max following the phenomenal specs we’ve seen. Even through these current rough times, Apple’s expected to go all out anyway. All current evidence are pushing for this iPhone to be named as iPhone 12. Without further ado, here’s our predictions about the iPhone 12 Pro Max:
In camera improvements, Apple has confirmed that unlike the iPad Pro, the iPhone will be getting not only the wide- angle and ultra wide lenses, it’ll be housing the telephoto as well. Apart from that, we’re expecting two new sensors from the rendered peek Apple has shown us. The iPad Pro had two new sensors never seen before in Apple’s portfolio; The Time-of-Flight 3D and LiDAR sensors. It’s quite huge, so reliable site 9to5Mac is expecting Apple to shrink down these sensors to the more compact iPhone 12 Pro.
Latest additions to the iPhone 12 Pro Max rumors would be the existence of Sensor Shift Stabilization. It’s an upgrade from what we’ve previously seen in other high-end smartphones including the iPhone 11’s OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
On availability, 9to5 Mac is expecting that the 3D Time-of-Flight sensor to only be available in only 2 high end units of the iPhone 12. This is consistent with reliable Apple analyst, Ming Chi Kuo’s prediction of the sensor shift stabilization to only be available in the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
All the upcoming lines will be equipped with the iOS 14, an organic LED (OLED) display, and a custom A14 processor. This has been consistent with reliable Apple predictions. The TrueDepth should also be improved as Analysts from Barclay are expecting a refreshed Face ID system. Most likely, the iPhone 12 Pro Max would be 5G supporting mmWave and sub-6GHz bands.
Apple’s also redesigning this latest apple somewhat similarly to the iPhone 4. Apparently, the iPhone 12 will go back to the previous slab design as Analyst Ming Chi Kuo expects. Despite that, it’s expected to still be thinner than the iPhone 11.
With that, Ming Chi Kuo is also expecting 4 iPhone 12 units. They should be sized at 5.4-inch, two 6.1-inch, and a 6.7-inch OLED iPhone models. The 4.7 inch unit is an anticipated iPhone SE 3.
The fall lineup will definitely push through this year regarding release. However it’s uncertain what month it’ll go with based on the uncertainty of how the current global will blow over.
