Sony is killing the game! They have just introduced its newest high resolution camera, the Alpha 7R IV. It features exciting specs as the first ever 35mm full frame with a 61.0 MP back illuminated Exmor CMOS Image sensor and the newest BIONZ Xtm image processor.

Experience high- speed frame rate in shooting full resolution images at up to 10 fps 4 with continuous, accurate AF/AE tracking for up to approximately 7 seconds5. And if you’re on APS-C crop mode you’ll get your shot in approx. 3x seconds producing 26.2MP2 images. This’ll help you capture the heat of the moment effortlessly, even on fast- paced subject.
The Alpha 7R IV’s speed in focusing is no joke either. 567 focal-plane phase-detection AF points covering 74% of image area and 425 contrast AF points is within its compact, lightweight body. This quality gives the camera unparalleled precision even in low- light situations.
Plus, with the introduction of the Alpha 7R IV also comes the kickoff of the Real-time Eye AF for movie recording6 and advanced Real-time Tracking7 plus Real-time Eye AF for still image recording!
Sony also made it a point to make film- making more efficient. The camera features Professional 4K movie recording functionality. Play with a full pixel readout with no pixel binning in Super 35mm mode 9, S-Log3 and HDR workflow support. In addition, Sony hasn’t forgotten to add amazing sound enhancement like Multi Interface Shoe™ to improve over-all audio quality!
