It’s a Steal: Meizu M1 Note Priced at Php7,990

We’ve recently talked about the Meizu M1 Note and how impressive it is. However, it gets better: it’s tentatively set to launch in the Philippines this March, and it’s pegged to be sold at Php7,990.

You read that right: Php7,990. For that cost, you can enjoy the M1 Note’s 16GB variant, which isn’t bad at all. And if you’re thinking that it’s another one of those cheap phones with cheap specs, then you’re in for a surprise.

The dual-SIM, LTE-capable M1 Note sports a 5.5-inch Sharp/AUO Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display that goes for a resolution of 1920×1080. It runs on an upgradable Android KitKat 4.4.4 skinned with Meizu’s famous Flyme 4 UI, and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MTK6752 octa-core processor, with 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores and 600Mhz Mali T760 GPU supported by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.

Its cameras are also pretty great: it features a 13MP Samsung camera at the rear that can shoot 30 photos per second while it has a 5MP OV5670 camera at the front. No need to worry about going the distance either, as its juiced by a 3,140mAh battery.

Yes, it does look like an iPhone 5c, but that doesn’t make it less of a phone. We’re definitely looking forward to this Q1 release.
