The Design
As they aim to be a champion, they really go all out from the moment you see the smartphone in the box. The design is truly top-notch, with a backplate that exhibits gradient glows when exposed to light. We have our unit in its Sunny Oasis model, and they also offer the Black Rock variant, which I particularly like due to the gold accent on its camera section, making it really great being partnered with the black back plate.
They finally improved its durability as it is now an IP54 water and dust-resistant. It is really a significant addition to the phone, having less worry when you need to use your smartphone when it is raining.
For the button and ports of the realme C67, it has a volume rocker and power button that is also a fingerprint scanner on the right side. On the left side, you will see the SIM tray slot which accommodates two nano SIM cards and a dedicated microSD card slot. On the bottom part of the smartphone, you will see the audio jack, microphone hole, USB type-C port, and speaker grill which also has a speaker grill on the top making it a stereo speaker phone.

The realme C67 boasts a 6.72-inch 90Hz IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Its high brightness mode of 950 nits ensures usability even under bright sunlight. The display impresses with vibrant visuals, and the refresh rate is commendable, especially considering its price.
One downside is the relatively thick chin bezel, making the screen-to-body ratio 87.8%. Nevertheless, this ratio remains decent when compared to other smartphones in its price range.
Introduced last year, the Mini-Capsule feature, interactive with designated apps or functions in the camera area, now sees an upgrade to Mini-Capsule 2.0. Despite showcasing new functions and improved functionality, there’s room for enhancement as the animations during interaction may feel laggy or delayed.
For its affordable price under Php 10k, the realme C67 surprises with a stereo speaker, enhancing the overall listening experience. The produced sounds are impressive and loud. Additionally, users can still enjoy their wired earphones, thanks to the inclusion of a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Performance
The realme C67 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 which is almost a year-old chipset but still alright for casual gaming, social media app, or watching online content. Our unit comes in a configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage which can be still expanded thanks to the dedicated microSD card slot.
Here are the benchmark scores of the realme C67.
The realme C67 runs realme UI Android 14. It still a familiar UI most especially if you been using realme smartphones. Booting up for the first time you will be greeted with its pre-installed realme app and third-party app. But it is not that many but the realme apps are not uninstallable.
The performance of the Snapdragon 685 in the realme C67 allows for smooth day-to-day activities such as browsing the internet, scrolling through social media apps, chatting with friends using messaging apps, and taking pictures. In terms of gaming, the device remains smooth and fluid when playing casual games. However, there may be minimal stuttering when playing graphics-intensive games like Genshin Impact or Call of Duty Mobile.
The thermal performance is also commendable, as evidenced by its ability to handle the 3DMark Wild Life Stress Test with a stability score of 99.4%. When engaged in gaming sessions, the device maintains relatively low heat levels, contributing to a comfortable user experience.
The Camera
The realme C67 has dual rear camera which compose of a 108-megapixel main camera that has 3x in-sensor zoom partnered with 2 megapixels depth camera. For the front camera, it has an 8 megapixels camera.
Image captured by the 108 megapixels rear camera is inconsistent most especially when the subjects are foods which the colors gets bland sometimes. But when it gets a proper snap you will be having a decent photo that has great details with a vibrant colors. Just do take note when taking picture with the realme C67 you must have steady hands and take time to get a excellent image.
Even in low-light conditions, the images exhibit vibrant colors and great details, even without using the night mode. Only, when the night mode is activated, it enhances the scene, making the image more visible.
Regarding the front camera, the selfies captured are good under favorable conditions. However, there is a slight downgrade in image quality when taking pictures in harsh lighting conditions. Therefore, it’s advisable to be mindful when capturing your selfies.
Recording videos is only up to 1080p@30fps but it still a decent resolution for sharing videos on your social media. The recorded videos we got is acceptable as it has EIS, making the videos not shaky. But, it seems to suffer with the colors and details. If you want much more stabilization, there is an Ultra Steady mode which makes the stabilization much aggressive.
The Battery
The realme C67 comes equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery capacity, capable of lasting through a busy day with activities such as scrolling through social media, browsing the internet, playing games, taking pictures, and listening to music. After 12 hours of use, the battery level remained at 14%.
The device also includes a 33W charger, allowing for fast charging from 0% to 100% in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
realme C67 Verdict
The realme C67 seems to check all the boxes quite well, but the critical question is whether it stands out as a champion in its price range. In my opinion, it comes close to achieving that status, with one notable exception – the camera. The inconsistency in colors when taking pictures is a drawback. However, this issue could potentially be addressed through a software update or by adopting the strategy of capturing multiple photos while ensuring a steady hand for optimal results.
On the positive side, if you’re in search of a smartphone with excellent performance, a vibrant display, impressive speaker quality, and long-lasting battery life, the realme C67 has it all, earning a high grade in these aspects. Moreover, the unique and elegant design adds to its appeal, making it likely to catch the eye of onlookers who appreciate the beauty of a well-designed smartphone.
