Samsung Unveils New Digital Wearables: the Gear S and the Gear Circle

With the development of smart wearable devices, what’s mobile has become more fashionable than ever. Samsung, the company at the forefront of digital gear, has raised the bar with the recent unveiling of the Gear S, the next generation of wearables that flawlessly connects your phone to your wrist.

With Bluetooth, 3G, and Wi-Fi connectivity, the Gear S gives you access to updates even when you’re far from your phone. However, it does more than just notify you about what’s important: it also promotes seamless communication by allowing you to answer calls with ease, reply to incoming messages using an on-screen keyboard, and even finish tasks with its enhanced voice functionality.

As much as it can sync with your phone, the Gear S can work separate from it. This dual core device comes with built-in extended features that include GPS navigation provided by HERE maps and health apps such as Nike+ Running. It’s also dust and water resistant, so you won’t have to worry about wearing it while commuting to work or jogging around the park.

In conjunction with the Gear S, Samsung also unveiled the Gear Circle, a set of Bluetooth earphones that features a magnetic lock which clasps the device around your neck, making it look both sleek and unassuming even when not in use.

The Samsung Gear S and the Gear Circle will be available this coming October.
