Smart Communications and Sun Cellular have set up “Libreng Tawag Centers” in Tonsuya Elementary School, Malabon City and in Sto. Domingo Church, Quezon City to help evacuated residents get in touch with their loved ones. More centers will be announced as soon as they are available.
On the other hand, several Globe Telecommunications stores now offer free mobile phone charging for those who are experiencing power outages due to the torrential rains.
