Acer has finally joined the Windows 8.1 game with the announcement of the Liquid M220, an entry-level phone said to give users a “perfectly balanced Windows mobile experience”.
The Liquid M220 has relatively good aesthetics for a low-tier device, with a surface texture reminiscent of Thai silk patterns and a silver middle frame. Under its 4-inch, 480×800 resolution display, it runs on the following specifications:
- 1.2GHz dual-core CPU
- 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and flash
- 2MP front-facing camera
- 512 RAM4GB expandable storage
- 1,300mAh battery
- dual-SIM
The Liquid M220 is Acer’s attempt to offer a price-friendly Windows phone that would go hand-in-hand with its Microsoft laptops. Once it comes out, it’ll cost €79, or approximately Php3,900.
