Our First Impressions on HONOR X8c

The HONOR X8c has its distinct eco-leather (silicone polymer) back option that adds a refined and stylish touch, much like what HONOR did with the X8b’s design. The soft, grippy texture feels great in hand, making it comfortable to hold even for long periods. Plus, it does a better job of resisting smudges and minor scratches, making it perfect for anyone looking for a premium feel with added durability.. The phone has a distinctive square camera module with four symmetrical circles, while the right side houses the volume and power buttons. On the left, you’ll find the SIM card slot, and at the bottom, there’s a down-firing speaker, charging port, and microphone hole.
Its lightweight design makes it easy to hold and carry, whether in your hand, pocket, or bag, without adding any extra bulk. The plastic frame also helps keep the phone light while still offering decent durability for everyday use. Despite being lightweight, it also features life-grade water resistance, providing protection against everyday splashes. Additionally, it has earned the SGS Premium Performance Certification for drop and crush resistance, ensuring enhanced durability for daily use.

One standout design element is the dual rear camera humps, giving the phone a unique and recognizable look. These camera modules house a powerful 108MP dual primary camera + OIS, which I’ll dive into on our full review. On the right side, the power and volume buttons are strategically placed for easy access, adding to the phone’s ergonomic design.
What we have at hand is the Marrs Green color option. It also comes in other color variants, including Midnight Black, & Moonlight White. The design isn’t just about aesthetics—it provides a comfortable grip while enhancing the viewing experience with a screen that stretches seamlessly to the edges. With three captivating color options, the device brings portability and style right at your hand ensuring you can find a choice that fits your personality and lifestyle.

The X8c introduces several features you might consider, including its 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a pill-shaped cutout for its 50 MP selfie camera. On the back, the 108MP main camera delivers impressive detail and clarity, supported by OIS and PDAF for better low-light and motion shots. Additionally, the 5MP ultrawide lens adds flexibility, though its resolution may feel a bit limiting for photography enthusiasts.
To showcase the camera’s performance, our in-depth review will include a collection of sample photos taken with the HONOR X8c. These images will highlight the device’s ability to capture stunning and vibrant shots, demonstrating its potential for creating content perfect for social media and beyond.
Another key highlight of the HONOR X8c is its massive 512 large storage capacity partnered with its 6000mAh battery, which the company claims, delivers exceptional longevity. In our upcoming in-depth review, we’ll put this to the test by measuring actual performance, charging times and battery performance across various tasks, including streaming and gaming. Stay tuned for our detailed findings!
