BIWIN is a major memory and storage manufacturer making waves recently in the Philippines. They had setup a booth at Nangang this year to showcase their products. Last year I was invited to their pavilion to see the brands (Lenovo and Acer) they work with in producing memory and storage products under their name. This year however, I went to cover more on BIWIN’s own products.
Table of Contents
ORIGIN CODE High Performance Memory
The most prominent product on display is their new performance sub-brand ORIGIN CODE. We’ve covered it in several posts before (here and here). But a quick summary, these VORTEX memory modules have 4R CUDIMMs for a dense memory setup along with fast Speeds of 6000 MT/s (not the fastest we have on DDR5, but it does have a very tight timing of CL26.

The demo unit sports a build featuring an Intel CPU, AORUS board and ASUS graphics plus an ORIGIN CODE 4R memory with 256GB at 8000MT/s CL42 in total. It does use another Origin Code product: Origin Code x Mach SF-A Mark II. It represents a heavily overclocked memory module

There’s another build that sports the liquid cooling block for the ORIGIN CODE VORTEX 6000 MT/s CL30 256GB memory module. It uses an MSI GODLIKE X870E motherboard with Ryzen 9 9950X3D for showcasing compatibility with AMD CPUs as well. It represents the VORTEX memory running on stock overclock specs

The last demo PC sports an ASUS Crosshair and AMD combo, but this time, it has a VORTEX 6200 MT/s with a tighter timing of CL28 and on liquid cooling.

BLACK OPAL Performance Memory and Storage
One side of the display area are their Black Opal memory and storage products. Currently there are no new releases on these, but all products are on full display for checking out. There is however, a sim racing rig they setup that uses their Black Opal DW100 DDR5 Memory and X570 PRO PCIe 5.0 SSD.

BIWIN RAM, Storage and Memory Cards
Some of the memory card and storage products are already familiar to us, but some are of the newer sort that we have published releases recently and have seen for the first time.
The ME300 is a microSD card built for use on the latest Switch 2 console, for high-capacity and high transfer speeds it needs for gaming. Amber portal SSDs got an upgrade, the PX4000 has improved IP67 protection for a slightly longer protection when being submerged in1m water for 30min, and a faster USB 4 Type C Gen3x2 interface. Another new product is the Amber UV200 Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB Drive. This is a storage drive made for automobile use. It is made for high heat environment like inside a car. Perfect for people like me who loads music offline and on a medium other than swapping CDs.

For PC storage, they have a new M.2 NVMe SSD the M560. It is a PCIe Gen5 SSD with a modest 11000MB/s Read/Write speed. There are numerous Memory and Storage products under the BIWIN brand. And I was informed that there are two aspects of BIWIN that differs with their color. Blue represents the mainstream consumer market, meaning it’s available for everyone. Red branded products cater to enterprise customers.

The last new product BIWIN has is the CL100 and its card reader the RD510. I’ve already posted the release at the start of this year, and it currently has a limited set of device/portable gaming console that supports it. The console on display is a GPD Win 5. Alternatively, there’s the BL130 Mini SSD for enterprise users.
