Fujitsu Philippines Inc. (FPI) marks their 45th year anniversary as a leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) system integrators. Shaping tomorrow with Fujitsu for its 45th year in the Philippines and counting!
On Fujitsu 45th year, they continue to commit into strengthening their position in the Philippine market. Raul “Cricket” Santiago, CEO and President of FPI says Fujitsu plans to do this by staying true on “Shaping Tomorrow with You” (company slogan). In other words, Fujitsu Philippines Inc. remains headstrong in their promise of development even through the “new normal” brought by COVID- 19.
Fujitsu entered the PH industry way back in 1963 with a humble start of a four-man team of Fujitsu engineers installing a Fujitsu Automatic Computer (FACOM) Model 212 system at the Philippine Bureau of Customs. It was the first Fujitsu computer outside Japan.
Numerous efforts then built up after until Fujitsu was able to find a formal settlement here. They began operations with a joint venture company on 1975 as FACOM Computers Philippines, Inc. After 8 years, they finally transitioned into Fujitsu Philippines Inc. on 1983.
In short, it’s been almost five decades for Fujitsu in offering ICT solutions and services to get to their presence now. Moreover, Fujitsu has since then expanded to many other locations nationwide like Manila, Cebu, Davao, Sta. Rosa in Laguna, and Clark in Pampanga. With over 500 full-time Filipino technology professionals at the helm, Fujitsu also took time to recognize and award their outstanding long-time employees on their 45th anniversary.
Fujitsu Philippines Inc. merges long-time local and global expertise as affiliated with Fujitsu Ltd. of Japan in striving for excellence. Thus, FPI continues their amazing track record in ICT solutions even to their biggest-and-most challenging projects.
FPI offers cloud technology with relevant and cost-effective IT solutions to all organizations of various sizes and needs. Their services include server, storage, scanning hardware, and more. Know more about Fujitsu Philippines Inc. on their official website.
