The Unboxing

We got the Wiko T10 in their ordinary box showing the image of the phone with the model number written below. And also, we have here the 128GB that is indicated in the top corner of the front box but they also have 64GB storage. Inside the box are the Wiko T10, SIM card ejector, Type-C USB cable, 10W charger and its user manual. We didn’t get a plastic case but we got a screen protector that was already pre-installed on the phone.

The Design

The design of the backside of Wiko T10 is a plastic textured finish with geometric shape designs that is great so you will not be having any fingerprint smudges. The camera module is on a square platform that is not extruded too much. Currently, we have the Emerald Green for this review but they also have the Midnight Black color variant.

Moving on its buttons and ports, we have a volume rocker and a power button on the right side. The left side is where the SIM tray slot supports one or two nano SIM and an SD card. On the bottom part, you will find the audio jack, microphone hole, USB type-C port, and speaker grills.

The Display and Sound

Wiko T10 has a 6.5” display that has a water drop notch on its front camera and also has a large chin. The display resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels IPS LCD. It produces vibrant colors but is not the same as an AMOLED display, though it is decent enough for browsing social media feeds or watching your favorite content for its price point.

The speaker is a down-firing speaker and its performance is decent enough for its purpose.

The Performance

Img 20221113 185245

The Wiko T10 inside has a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset that is quite old as it was introduced in 2018, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. But they also have 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Let us check the benchmark scores of the Wiko T10.

Wiko T10 comes with Android 11 Go Edition OS which is a step-down version to cater to low-end smartphones to have better performance and experience. It also has almost no bloatware except for the Google apps that are pre-installed on the Wiko T10. Wiko also gave us a stock experience of the Android OS as they tweaked the OS a little bit, and will you barely notice it.

Our day-to-day experience with the Wiko T10 is great as it is responsive and smooth. Browsing the internet, scrolling down social media feeds, and watching content online was satisfactory and we didn’t encounter any problems with it.

The Wiko T10 can also cater games that are requiring low-demanding graphic settings just like the 2d games that you can play during your spare time. As long as your settings are set to low, even playing some of the latest games should be fine.

As for the biometrics and security of the Wiko T10, we didn’t get any fingerprint sensor or even a face unlock feature. What we only have is a screen lock like PIN, Pattern, Password for our security for the phone.

The Camera

Img 20221113 095037

We only got a 13MP single camera for the rear and 5MP front camera for our Wiko T10. With this level of smartphones, we need to manage our expectations for its results as usually it just delivers its purpose.

For its camera settings, we got the Wiko T10 which is very simple as it gives us very basic options. We can simply just go for Photo, Beauty, Panorama, Time-lapse, Night, Professional, and Video. As for the features, we have AI and Geo tagging. For browsing our pictures they also pre-installed Google Gallery.

Our rear camera result is as expected. With a pretty lit environment, we got a reasonable quality of a picture that has a fair amount of detail to its image, yet our colors lack punch. But if our lighting environment is dim or if we took pictures at night. We get grainy pictures and it shows its difficulties in balancing its exposure. Also, you will notice how slow it processes our images.

On the other hand, the 5MP front camera performs fair enough for its megapixels. We have better results in balancing its exposure but we can clearly see the details of the picture is not that good.

The Battery

Our Wiko T10 comes with a 5,000mAh battery that we typically see nowadays and it supports 10w charging that will charge slowly for our battery capacity. However, we got a USB type-C port, whereas in this price bracket we are still getting a MicroUSB. Besides that, we also got reverse charging.

Wiko T10 Verdict

Img 20221114 161530

Regardless of the performance of the Wiko T10. It still has a spot in this price range, as you will be having a hard time seeing the latest features like a USB type-C port, large internal storage, decent display, and a stock experience of Android at this price range. Also, this is a good smartphone if you are just going to use it for watching content.

The Wiko T10 is priced at Php 6,499 for its 4GB + 128GB configuration and Php 4,990 for the 2GB + 64GB configuration. It is available in Lazada, Shopee, and Wiko kiosks
