Four New iPhone 12 Models Announced!

Apple has officially announced the new iPhone 12 series in today’s Apple event. Usually held every September, the announcement was moved to October and instead unveiled the new iPads and Apple Watches.

The new iPhone series has a few upgrades that would definitely excite the fanbase. 5G will be supported in the new iPhones and MagSafe (used in MacBooks) that will provide an excellent charging experience to users. The iPhone 12 will have Super Retina XDR Displays with Ceramic Shield instead of the usual Corning Gorilla Glass. Apple mentioned that the Ceramic Shield is the toughest smartphone display glass in the market today. Under the hood is the latest A14 Bionic chipset which Apple claims is their most powerful yet superefficient for its battery life.

Four new iPhone models were announced during the Apple event. These are the iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. The sizes are 6.1″, Mini at 5.4″, Pro at 6.1″ and the Pro Max at 6.7″. Both the iPhone and its Mini version will have a pair of 12 Megapixel cameras with ultra wide-angle and 2x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Pro an Pro Max are equipped with triple 12 Megapixel cameras with wide, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. The Pro’s cameras have larger sensors at 47% which increases the amount of light entering the wide lens. Apple claims that the iPhone Pro’s cameras can take 87% better low-light photos than its competition.

Just a reminder, purchasing any of the new iPhone series will not include the usual earphones and chargers as part of Apple’s efforts to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Prices of the iPhone 12, Mini, Pro and Pro Max starts at $799, $699, $999 and $1,099 respectively.
