During the launch of the OPPO F1 last February, they announced that a bigger version called the OPPO F1 Plus will be coming to the Philippines soon. Today, we received word from our friends in OPPO that it will be launched this weekend. Thankfully I’m invited to attend the launch and I’ll be able to check out why the F1 Plus is a big deal.
From what I know, the OPPO F1 Plus will have a bigger 5.5″ display, larger internal storage and RAM and powered by a 2 GHz MTK6755 Helio Processor. If I am correct, the F1 Plus will be the first smartphone to be released in our shores with this latest MTK chipset.
The front camera is interesting as well. According to the teaser photo, the F1 Plus’ front camera will have a whopping 16 Megapixels! This beats the Asus Zenfone Selfie which has 13 Megapixels. I hope the F1 Plus’ camera will include more features compared to its younger sibling.
