The Unboxing

realme 10 Pro 5G inside the box

The Realme 10 Pro 5G arrives in its signature yellow box, featuring its model name at its front. Upon opening it, you’ll find the Realme 10 Pro itself, a transparent silicone case, SIM ejector, 33W charger, USB Type-A to Type-C cable, and its informative guide.

The First Impressions

realme 10 Pro 5G phone

The realme 10 Pro 5G sports a similar design to its non-pro counterpart. It is a flat boxy design which we like as it makes your hands be able to grip the phone much more securely.

The realme 10 Pro 5G that we got is the Dark Matter color variant. They also have the Nebula Blue and its very own Hyperspace color that has a prism effect on its back. On the other hand, the design of the Dark Matter option has a grainy texture design but has a smooth feel in the hands.

realme 10 Pro 5G camera

Like its non-pro version, they still are sticking with two camera configurations on its rear camera.

These are the 108-megapixel main camera and the 2-megapixel depth camera. It is sad to see that it still doesn’t have an ultrawide camera feature. Nonetheless, it is much better in terms of megapixel counts as it is now 108 megapixels compared to the 50 megapixels of the realme 10.

Its front camera is now placed in the center and uses a 16-megapixel camera.

realme 10 Pro 5G right side

The volume rocker and power button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, are located on the right side.

realme 10 Pro 5G sim tray

Additionally, the SIM card slot is located on the left side and features two nano SIM card slots. One slot can also be used as an SD card slot.

realme 10 Pro 5G Bottom

On the bottom part, you can find the 3.5mm audio port, microphone, USB Type C port, and speaker grill.

The display is one of the selling points of the Pro version of realme 10 series. It has ultra-thin bezels that they were able to achieve with their RAZR technology including also the InSeal Technology. They were able to have a 1mm bezel size and still they were able to give justice in offering a great display.

realme 10 Pro 5G Front Display

The realme 10 Pro 5G has a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. So far with our short-time experience with the smartphone, it is fine but not as fine as the colors of the realme 10 display. This is because of the AMOLED display that the non-pro version uses. However, even if this is the case, it is still good and it has a better refresh rate and size display.

As for its specs, the realme 10 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and with Adreno 619 GPU. The review unit that we have has an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, that will not be available in the market. The only ram and storage configuration that will be available is the 8GB + 256GB model. Also, this realme 10 Pro has a 5000mAh battery, with 33W fast charging.

realme 10 Pro 5G Android 13

The realme 10 Pro runs with realme UI 4.0 operating system based on Android 13. It is great to see that they are running their latest smartphone with the latest Android version.

So far, they nailed the specs and we liked how the design was made with the realme 10 Pro series 5G. With this, we will go more in-depth on its performance, camera performance, and software features in our full review next week. In the meantime stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates and other news.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
