Starmobile, which has recently released its own digital TV phones, has just finished its DTV signal testing in Metro Manila.
The test, which was held from April 10 to 19, aims to measure the strength of free local channels using the Starmobile Knight Vision.
The results showed that GMA1SEG and GMA News TV had greater coverage presence, while ABS-CBN sports had the highest average signal, followed by ABS-CBN, and AKSYON TV.

“This is a 100% independent and consumer-centric test which we feel should be known by the public especially with the on-going shift from Analog to Digital broadcast,” said Starmobile Product Development Head Michael Chen. “We will continue to conduct DTV tests nationwide so that we could better assess the proliferation of this technology.”
