The Samsung Galaxy A5 and Samsung Galaxy A7 – High End Looks for Mid Range Price

We all wish to have the latest flagship phones to flash around. The reality is, not everyone can afford to shell out at least Php 35,000 to buy one. They have to wait for special promos, units sold as second hand, or even wait for a year or two when the prices are already low. Samsung is aware of this, so they re-released their Galaxy A series models with updated high-end specs and features. The Samsung Galaxy A5 and Samsung Galaxy A7 are the phones that these customers might be interested in.

I remember playing around with the Samsung Galaxy A5 and the A7 last year and was impressed with its build quality. Back then, phones have aluminum unibody which actually looked more premium than the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 (the Galaxy S6 would be announced a month later.) The 2016 edition of the Samsung Galaxy A series carries the same glass and metal designs of the Samsung Galaxy S6. Even the contour on the sides look and feel exactly the same as the S6, though the edges on the corners of the phone are less curved that still makes it look like the previous Galaxy A5. Both the Galaxy A5 and A7 have the same designs, with the latter having a bigger 5.5″ display for users who prefer phablets.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 and Samsung Galaxy A7 also now have fingerprint scanners for added security. Cameras were also improved with f/1.9 aperture compared to f/2.2 & f/2.0 that should be able to take brighter pictures under low-light conditions.
