ELITE XG550 is a 55” 120Hz OLED Panel Gaming monitor that offers a 0.5ms GTG (gray to gray) response time. The maximum resolution attained is 4k UHD (3840×2160). Expect vibrant colors thanks to its 99% DCI-P3 Color support. Other features found include a narrow bezel, and the ELITE RGB accent lighting for added mood while playing. We will have to wait until Q4 2020 for it to be released.

ELITE XG270QC is a 27” gaming monitor has a curvature measurement of 1500R and a maximum resolution of 2560×1440 (QHD) gives us a wrap-around view in 4k. A luminance measurement of 550cd/m2 and color coverage of >90% DCI-P3 Color support allows us to have a bright and vibrant display. A refresh rate of 165Hz and 3ms response time, will let us enjoy a smooth game play experience. The XG270QC is supported by AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro technology for gamers using AMD Radeon graphics cards. Right now, we can purchase this model through retailers.

ELITE Ally is a peripheral that we can attach to select ViewSonic ELITE monitors in order to access in display settings, set game modes, set brightness/color/contrast, set RGB lighting setup, and other features like HDR or Adaptive Sync remotely.

Certifications and Partnerships

XG270 Gaming Monitor is now NVIDIA G-SYNC and Blur Busters Certified. NVIDIA has certified that XG270 models are G-SYNC compatible. And by making use of NVIDIA video cards, we are ensured of tear-free and smooth gameplay with a refresh rates of up to 240 Hz.

ELITE has partnered with Blur Busters in tuning the PureXP, ViewSonic Elite’s own strobe back-light technology. This reduces motion blur found while playing games. By enhancing PureXP, we get a 0.6 Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT), improved GTG, and prevent degradation of color quality of the monitor.

The Elite RGB Alliance allows the new XG27 series and XG27QC to sync up with two partners of ELITE: ThermalTake and Razer. Razer’s Chroma and ThermalTake TT RGB can now link with ELITE RGB via the ELITE Display Controller software. By using this feature, we can further customize our own lighting setup.

We can download the beta version of the ELITE Display Controller here. The final version is slated to be out on February 2020
