Now with Ryzen: Announcing The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY

The wait is over, ASUS is finally bringing their Ryzen-powered gaming laptop to our shores. The TUF Gaming brand FX505DY brings a lot of in-demand gaming-centric features at a reasonable price.

For the uninitiated, the ASUS TUF Gaming line slots below the high-end ROG brand. The TUF Gaming line still retains a lot of gaming features, as well as bringing more emphasis on durability and toughness. For the FX505DY, some of these key features include a 1080p 120Hz IPS-level NanoEdge display with AMD Radeon FreeSync, a Radeon RX 560X graphics, and pretty competent 4-core, 8-thread Ryzen 5-3550H. It’s bundled with 4GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, and a 1 terabyte hardrive.

Also Ryzen-powered is the ASUS Gaming X570ZD notebook. Equipped with a Ryzen 5 R5-2500U processor and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, this is ASUS’s most affordable GTX 1050-equipped notebook in their line-up.

For something lighter and portable, there’s also the Ryzen-powered VivoBook 15 X505ZA. You can get it either with a Ryzen R3-2200U processor with a Radeon Vega 3 integrated graphics, or with a Ryzen R5-2500U processor with Radeon Vega 8 integrated graphics. Both models come with a 1 terabyte hard drive, 4 GB of DDR4 memory, and a 15.6″ 1080p display.

The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY retails at P39,995 while the ASUS Gaming X570ZD goes for P37,995. The VivoBook 15 X505ZA is priced at P26,995 for the Ryzen R3-2200U model and P29,995 for the Ryzen R5-2500U model. Available at ASUS Concept stores, ROG Concept stores, and ASUS authorized resellers.
