ASUS Announces ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV

ASUS announced two new additions to the ProArt OLED monitor lineup: ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV.

The 26.5-inch ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and 31.5-inch PA329CDV boast 4K QD-OLED panels with up to 1000 nits peak brightness (3% area) for exceptional contrast. Both monitors offer 99% DCI-P3 and true 10-bit color depth for exceptional color reproduction. Designed to surpass industry standards, these monitors are factory calibrated to Delta E<1.5 color accuracy, making them ideal for video editing, color grading, and other professional post-production workflows.

The panel of both monitors are protected by an anti-scratch film that increases panel hardness for up to 2.5X better scratch resistance compared to previous-generation QD-OLED panels.

PA279CDV and PA329CDV are Mac-friendly and feature the M Model-P3 color setting to ensure consistent colors on macOS devices. Plus, ASUS DisplayWidget Center is available for macOS[i], enabling convenient control over any ProArt display.

Built-in Auto KVM allows users to use a single keyboard and mouse to control two connected laptops or PCs, eliminating the need for a separate KVM switch for more efficient multitasking. In addition, both monitors offer extensive connectivity including full function USB-C^® ports with 96-watt Power Delivery, HDMI^® 2.1, DisplayPort^™ 1.4 with DSC (daisy chain support), and a built-in USB 3.2 hub with one USB-C and three USB Type-A ports.

ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV will be available in July 2026 with a US$699 MSRP. ProArt Display OLED PA329CDV is expected to go on sale in September 2026 at a US$899 MSRP.

ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV have a peak brightness of 1000 nits (3% area), delivering exceptional contrast between the deepest blacks and brightest whites. In addition, both monitors boast up to 120Hz refresh rate and variable-refresh-rate (VRR) technology to allow creators to work on fast-rendering visuals and conduct quality checks — all on a single display.

True-to-life color

Both monitors exceed industry color production standards with 99% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec. 709 color gamuts, making them ideal for video editing and post-production. In addition, true 10-bit color depth enables the monitors to showcase more than 1.07 billion colors to give content creators a vast color spectrum to work with.

Each ProArt display is calibrated in the factory using a new three-scale process to guarantee exceptional color fidelity. The display then undergoes stringent testing using ASUS advanced grayscale tracking technology to ensure smoother color gradations, better uniformity, and high color accuracy with a Delta E<1.5 color difference value.

Ideal for Mac users

Both monitors combine professional-grade performance with sleek design and Mac-test compatibility. Offering vibrant colors and versatile connectivity, ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV are ideal for Mac users. The M Model-P3 color setting aligns ProArt Display colors with macOS devices. Plus, ASUS DisplayWidget Center for macOS enables easy brightness, contrast, color temperature, and other adjustments via a mouse. The monitors work seamlessly with MacBook[ii] and users can even use the MacBook brightness button to adjust monitor luminosity[iii]. In addition, the 120Hz variable refresh rate ensures flawless synchronization with Apple ProMotion technology.

ASUS OLED Care

ProArt Display OLED series monitors include ASUS OLED Care, which is designed to safeguard the display by minimizing the risk of image burn-in.

Panel Protection offers Sensor Protection, Pixel Shift, Screen Saver, ISP (Global), and Off Sensing to avoid consistently showing static images onscreen. This feature offers two adjustable levels.

Image Protection dynamically detects and identifies the task bar, logos, and video edges, reducing the brightness around them to minimize the risk of burn-in. It offers three adjustable levels.

To further protect the screen, a proximity sensor automatically decreases brightness gradually when it detects that there’s no user in front of the monitor. Three adjustable detection ranges are available.

All functions can be accessed within the OSD by selecting System Setup –> Screen Saver.

Designed for comfort

An ambient light sensor intelligently adjusts brightness and color temperature depending on surrounding lighting conditions to ensure comfortable, color-accurate viewing experiences. In addition, each monitor features a new stand design that’s 2X slimmer and offering a 33% smaller footprint versus previous models to maximize desk space while delivering a clean, moderns aesthetic.
