Pru Life UK is presenting their free 45-day COVID-19 insurance program that gives eligible Filipinos (ages 18- 64) can get from downloading and registering in Pulse, Pru Life UK’s AI-powered health and wellness app. This program includes a death benefit or lump sum amount of PHP 100,000 for their bereaved family should the insured passes away due to accident, or as a result of COVID-19. Requirements for this exclusive offer are as follows:

  • Ages 18- 64
  • No symptoms of COVID-19 by time of registration
  • Not under quarantine because of COVID-19 by time of registration
  • Is/ did not live with a COVID-19 patient by time of registration

By April 11, 2020, the first 500,000 Filipinos to download and register Pulse and meet these conditions can avail of this program. Other than meeting terms and conditions, no additional purchase of any kind is required. All this is for free.

To download, those interested and eligible need to download the free Pulse app from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. New Pulse app registrants must create an account and complete their profiles while existing Pulse registrants will receive an in-app notification directing them to complete their profiles in order to register for the free COVID-19 insurance program.

Applicants also need to complete the profiles of their beneficiaries through Pulse. Policy owners and their beneficiaries will get confirmation emails upon successful registration.

Pru Life UK aims to support Filipinos to get through this pandemic to the best they can. Other initiatives the insurance company has taken are:

  • Extension of premium insurance payments of policy owners with due dates from February 16 until June 30, 2020
  • Such grace period covers an additional 29 days from the standard 31 days for all policy owners nationwide
  • Policy owners insured with the Hospital Income Rider, issued on or before January 31, 2020 get an additional hospital benefit of Php 1,000 daily for those hospitalized due to COVID-19
