While everybody was preparing for the weekend, a new smartphone was quietly announced via social media yesterday. The Cherry Mobile Flare Mate comes with a large 6-inch display which is becoming popular after the release of the Huawei Mate 8 and the Asus Zenfone Laser 6. It has a resolution of 1080 x 1920, meaning it has a Full HD display which should give the user a very pleasant viewing experience.
The Cherry Mobile Flare Mate comes with an Octa-Core processor, 16GB of Internal Storage expandable with a Micro SD card, and 2GB of RAM. Its cameras have a 16 Megapixel shooter for the rear and an 8 Megapixel sensor at the front. Like the Flare Selfie, it also comes with a Fingerprint Scanner.
The only available color is gold. The frame seems to be made of metal but the back cover is polycarbonate. I initially thought that the back cover is removable, but sadly it isn’t. The SIM Card and memory card slots are on the side. I wish the back cover was also metal to make it really premium.
