Vivo is gearing up for 2017 as it releases an improved version of the Vivo V5 which was launched only a couple of months ago. The Vivo V5 rocked the market by announcing its 20 Megapixel Selfie camera last November 2016. The Vivo V5 Plus now comes with Dual-Cameras, not at the back of the phone, but at the front!
Vivo is focused on making the V5 Plus “The Perfect Selfie” by using a Sony IMX376 sensor for its 20 Megapixel front camera and an 8 Megapixel camera to collect depth-of-field information for improved self-portrait images. This feature makes them a standout compared to other brands with Dual-cameras, especially Huawei since the user has to use his main camera to achieve a selfie with bokeh effect, which of course is impossible unless someone else takes a photo of him. The camera at the back of the phone is no slouch either as it comes with a 16 Megapixel sensor that is capable of taking vivid photos.

The Vivo V5 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 64GB Internal Storage and 4GB of RAM. The fingerprint scanner is still found at the home button on the front which can now be pressed. I am not certain why Vivo switched to a button with moving parts, whereas they said before that market research was a result for them to have a non-pressable home button on the V5 similar to the Apple iPhone 7.
