ZOWIE Philippines recently hosted a monitor and gear launch event, and we had the opportunity to attend. Founded in 2008, ZOWIE has focused on creating professional esports gear. Just a year later, they launched their first mouse—the EC Series—co-developed with Counter-Strike legend HeatoN, setting the foundation for their mission in competitive gaming.
BenQ, a display expert with 35+ years of history, teamed up with ZOWIE in 2010. Together, they created the first gamer-focused LCD monitor, the XL2410, which quickly became a global favorite. In 2015, BenQ and ZOWIE officially merged, combining expertise and passion under BenQ ZOWIE as known today.
Since then, ZOWIE has been the leading and most trusted brand in the FPS pro-scene, with 92% of CS2 Players and 74% of Valorant players using ZOWIE monitors (Source: Prosettings.net)
