Let me share my in-depth review as we explore the features and specifications of the HONOR X6a.

Alongside the documentation, you’ll discover a convenient SIM ejector pin for easy use. Additionally, the box contains a charging adapter, a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, and a transparent silicone case, providing users with a complete set of essential accessories.

Its Appearance

The Honor X6a presents a sophisticated and premium design that is sure to grab your attention. Its slim profile and lightweight build make it easy to handle and carry, ensuring a comfortable user experience. Personally, I find the Sky Silver version appealing due to its glossy gradient aesthetics. Furthermore, the phone delivers an exceptional in-hand feel, providing a satisfying and comfortable grip that enhances the pleasure of holding this device.

Its Display and Features

The HONOR X6a boasts a 6.56”, LFT LCD Display, having a refresh rate of 90Hz that brings the users with immersive experience when viewing photos, videos, movies or more. This means that the screen will refresh 90 times every second, resulting in a smoother and more responsive viewing experience. With this refresh rate, exceeding the specifications of numerous other devices in its price category, this phone provides smoother visuals, enhancing the overall gaming and browsing experience.

Additionally, the display offers a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels, which is quite respectable for a mid-range smartphone. It also has a pixel density of  269 pixel per inch. Equipped with HONOR’s Dynamic Dimming technology, it can simulate the dynamic change of natural light and effectively alleviate eye fatigue.

It can also handle high-demanding games like Genshin Impact, although occasional stuttering may occur when played at higher settings, but switching to low settings can provide a smoother gameplay experience. For less demanding games like Mobile Legends, the device delivers consistently smooth performance even at optimal graphic settings.

The HONOR X6a boasts an impressive 50MP Main Camera, a 2MP ultra-wide camera plus a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2MP front camera, a rare find in smartphones within the same price range, enabling users to capture life’s moments with exceptional detail, whether it’s day or night. 

During our actual camera test, the pictures we took from the 50MP rear camera were decent and produced vivid shots. Additionally, the 5MP Front Camera on the front side delivers high-quality images that can be easily shared with friends and family. Its Selfie Camera also joins the line as it produces natural-looking selfie shots. 

In terms of image quality, the camera of the Honor X6a produces vibrant and natural colors, while maintaining good sharpness and dynamic range. It performs well in low-light situations, thanks to its low-light sensitivity and noise reduction capabilities, allowing users to capture clear and well-lit photos in dark environments.

The Honor X6a’s camera offers a diverse set of features designed to enhance photography experiences. Users have the option to utilize portrait mode for achieving professional-looking portraits with background blur, HDR for well-balanced exposure in high-contrast situations, and panorama mode for capturing wide-angle shots.
