realme has just launched its latest number series, and the unit we have on hand is the realme 15 Pro 5G. This time, only two models were introduced, with no Plus variant included. We also noticed a price increase compared to the previous generation, as the non-Pro version now starts in the Php 20K range, while the Pro variant pushes close to Php 30K for the 256GB model and the 512GB version has already crossed that mark. The question now is, does the realme 15 Pro 5G justify its higher price point? Let’s find out in this review.

The Design

The realme 15 Pro 5G unit we have is the Flowing Silver variant, featuring a marble-style design with a glossy finish on the back panel. There is also a Velvet Green option, which comes with a leather-textured back for a more premium feel.
One of the standout aspects is its slim profile at 7.79mm thick, yet it still manages to house a large-capacity battery. Despite the thin build, realme has ensured durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and capable of surviving both heavy rain and accidental dips in the pool.
As for ports and buttons, the volume rocker and power button are located on the right side. At the bottom, you will find the speaker grille, microphone, USB Type-C port, and SIM tray that supports dual nano SIM cards. Another microphone is positioned at the top for improved audio pickup. The in-display fingerprint sensor works quickly and accurately, and we had no issues with unlocking the phone.
The Display and Speaker

The realme 15 Pro 5G features a 6.8-inch Quad Curve+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1280 x 2800 pixels. The screen is exceptionally bright, reaching up to 6,500 nits peak brightness, which makes it easy to view even under direct sunlight. In outdoor use, the content remains clear and visible without any struggle.
Since it uses a curved display, realme addressed durability concerns by protecting it with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring toughness against accidental drops or scratches.
As expected from an AMOLED panel, the display quality is excellent, delivering deep blacks and vibrant colors. The higher refresh rate of 144Hz is a welcome upgrade, though most users may not immediately notice the difference from 120Hz. Still, it provides a smoother overall experience.
For audio, the realme 15 Pro 5G is equipped with dual stereo speakers that produce rich and clear sound. Even at maximum volume, the audio remains distortion-free, making it enjoyable for listening to music or watching videos with a group.
The Performance

The realme 15 Pro 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, cooled by a 7,000mm² airflow vapor chamber cooling system. It is paired with 12GB of RAM with up to 14GB Dynamic RAM Expansion and 256GB of internal storage on our unit, but there is also a 512GB option available.
Here are the benchmark results we got from the realme 15 Pro 5G:

The phone runs on realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. As usual with realme devices, you will find multiple bloatware apps, but thankfully these can be easily uninstalled if you do not want them.
Navigating the phone and multitasking, such as switching from social media to browsing and then moving to another app, is quick and smooth.
Gaming is also a solid experience, whether you are playing casual titles or demanding games like Genshin Impact. By default, it runs smoothly on medium settings, but even when set to high, the gameplay remains stable. The benchmark score we achieved on AnTuTu was over one million, which clearly shows how well the phone can perform.
The Camera

realme 15 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS paired with a 50MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it also features a 50MP selfie camera. I want to point out that while it looks like it has a triple camera setup, the third lens at the bottom is actually fake. To be honest, it feels odd that they decided to include a dummy lens, as it seems a bit deceiving.
realme 15 Pro 5G – Main Camera The daylight shots we captured with the main camera are impressive. The dynamic range is wide, details are sharp, and colors are vibrant. However, in low-light conditions, the results were inconsistent. Sometimes, especially with human subjects, the image processing was too aggressive, making the subject look unnaturally pasted into the scene. But when the processing works properly, the results are excellent.
realme 15 Pro 5G – Ultrawide Camera Switching to the ultrawide camera, there is only a slight drop in detail and color accuracy. Still, it is a huge improvement compared to the typical 8MP ultrawide sensors that realme usually includes. Hopefully, they continue this approach, since many people, including my friends, use ultrawide cameras frequently and sometimes even treat them as the primary camera. The bump in megapixels noticeably improves image quality.
realme 15 Pro 5G – Selfie Camera As for the selfie camera, the photos we took were sharp with natural-looking colors. Background separation is also decent. There are zoom options at 0.8x, 1x, and 2x, which is a handy feature for quickly adjusting framing without needing to move the phone.
When recording videos, all the cameras support 4K@60fps, which is impressive. The main camera is equipped with both OIS and gyro-EIS, providing smooth and stable video capture.
The Battery
The main highlight of the realme 15 Pro 5G is its battery. realme managed to fit a 7,000mAh battery into a body that is only 7.69mm thin, which is very impressive. The battery life is excellent, and with this large capacity combined with a power-efficient chipset, you will not have to worry about running out of charge within the day.
In our experience, light users can get up to two days of use on a single charge, while heavy users can still enjoy about one and a half days of usage.
To complement the large battery, realme included 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which can recharge the phone from 0% to 100% in just a little over an hour.
realme 15 Pro 5G Verdict

The realme 15 Pro 5G delivers an excellent balance of design, performance, and battery life. Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, it features a bright curved 144Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP OIS main camera, and a massive 7,000mAh battery in a slim body. It feels close to flagship level in many aspects but comes at a more accessible price. While the camera performance in low-light still needs improvement, this is something that can potentially be addressed through a software update. It would be a waste not to maximize such capable camera hardware. Overall, the realme 15 Pro 5G is a well-rounded smartphone that offers excellent value for money.
The realme 15 Pro 5G is priced at Php 27,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and Php 30,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. As part of the early bird promotion available until September 26, 2025, you can get it at a discounted price of Php 20,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and Php 23,999 for the 12GB+512GB model, which is an incredible deal at this price point.
