Cybersecurity is Key to Philippine and Israeli Relations

Israel-based cybersecurity firm and leading provider of impactful intelligence, Cyberint, hosted an event with dozens of senior executives, security professionals, and key stakeholders from leading Philippine organizations. The attendees hailed from the financial enterprises, government sector, and the business community. They sought insights from Cyberint due to the company’s long track record working with top institutions from the country’s financial sector.

Benefiting from a strong local presence of its cybersecurity experts, the event was led by Cyberint’s CEO, Yochai Corem, who also hosted a Philippine customer panel of security executives. He was on hand to talk about the Philippine threat landscape and the dangers of the digital supply chain in particular.

Yochai Corem Ceo Of Cyberint

“The Philippine threat landscape is one that needs to be addressed with a sense of urgency. This year, Cyberint found that the Philippines ranks 9th in the APAC region regarding the frequency of ransomware attacks. This harsh reality calls for Philippine organizations to adopt real-time, targeted intelligence that preemptively secures companies instead of waiting and hoping defenses hold.” – Yochai Corem, CEO of Cyberint.

Ilan Fluss, Israel’s Ambassador to the Philippines, was also in attendance to greet the local crowd and celebrate growing Israeli-Philippine relations, which are being driven as never before by cybersecurity cooperation.

Cyberint plans to deepen its involvement in the Philippines, by continuing its fruitful collaboration with the Banking Association of Philippines (BAP) and extending its growing customer and partner base by providing impactful intelligence to tackle the evolving cybersecurity threats.
