Lenovo announced its two new ThinkBooks aimed for the Philippines’ young and digitally-inclined professionals. The ThinkBook 14 and 15 are for today’s workforce who seek the perfect balance between high-end specifications and premium aesthetics in work devices. Based on the study commissioned by Lenovo, today’s millenials and Gen Z workers largely consider the appearance and material of work laptops as features they value most.
With the two age groups now making up nearly 60% of the new workforce, Lenovo developed the ThinkBook to include in-demand features such as the collaboration tools required to remain agile, the durability to work on-the-go, enhanced connectivity, AI-based technology, and enterprise-level support for greater peace of mind.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 and 15 offer Full HD resolution IPS panels with screens bendable up to 180 degrees. The screen comes with narrow bezels, promising a screen-to-body ration of 80% and up, leaving plenty of room for work. Both devices feature lightning-quick processing thanks to their powerful 10th generation Intel Core processors. According to Intel. these latest processors offer 2.5x faster AI performance, 3x faster connectivity due to wi-Fi 6 support, and has up to 2x the graphics performance compared to the 8th Gen Intel Core processors. The ThinkBook 14 has an Intel Core i5-10210U processor, while the ThinkBook 15 is equipped with an Intel Core i7-10510U processor.
Both laptops are equipped with 9GB DDR4 memory and 512GB M.2 SSDs. On the graphics side, the ThinkBook 14 will have Integrated Intel UHD Graphics while the 15″ is powered by an AMD Radeon 620 graphics card. They come with a sleek mineral gray finish made of aluminum and MIL-SPEc-tested, making them durable enough to withstand the rigors of everyday business use and other conditions such as water spills or extreme temperatures.
The new ThinkBooks are covered by Lenovo’s comprehensive support portfolio which includes services such as Think Service & Support that provides automatic access to business-grade expertise. Accidental Damage Protection support and Onsite Next Business Day Support will be provided within the next business day on premises.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 and 15 will be available on December 2019. The ThinkBook 14’s price will start at P48,990 while the ThinkBook 15 will start at P57,490.
