ASUS COMPUTEX 2024 Booth Tour: Zen Experience Zone
The first area we visited was the Zen Experience Zone. Featured products in this area are the Zenbook S16, Zenbook DUO and Zenfone 11 Ultra. A stunning fusion of art and technology, the premium ASUS Zenbook S 16 is a sleek and lightweight ultraportable, measuring just 1.1 cm slim and weighing 1.5 kg.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra caught our attention thanks to its sleek design in a glossy-matte finish. It has a 6.78″ FHD+ (2400×1080 pixels) AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and Pro-level cameras with flagship sensors. The design is very similar to the ROG Phone 8 we reviewed months ago.
Found on the right side of the Zenfones are the ZenWiFi series. The ZenWiFi BT10 merges WiFi 7 with award-winning mesh capabilities, offering speeds up to 18 Gbps and coverage up to 560 m. It features Tri-band Multi-Link and AiMesh for seamless connectivity, eliminating dead zones with ten high-power modules and eight internal antennas, while dual 10Gbps Ethernet ports enhance wired gaming and 4K HDR streaming. The Smart Home Master Network supports up to three customizable SSIDs, enhancing security and management for IoT devices, parental controls, and VPN services. Subscription-free AiProtection Pro, powered by Trend Micro, ensures comprehensive network security and VPN support.
At the same time, ASUS also introduced ASUS ZenWiFi BD4 dual-band WiFi 7 mesh routers, boasting dual-band Multi-Link for up to 3600 Mbps speeds and up to 560 m coverage. It also supports Smart Home Master for advanced network setup to fully take control of smart home scenarios.
ASUS COMPUTEX 2024 Booth Tour: VivoBook
The ASUS Vivobook series is renowned for combining AI-powered performance with portability and user-centric design for unparalleled on-the-go experiences.
ASUS Vivobook S 15 (S5507), the company’s first Copilot+ PC, was recently unveiled at a dedicated launch event. It features a 15.6-inch 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display and immersive audio in a sleek, all-metal body that is 1.47 cm thick and weighs 1.42 kg. It offers up to 18 hours of battery life and includes an ultra-large smart gesture touchpad, WiFi 7, and a single-zone RGB keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key for instant AI assistance.
Other models in the series, such as the ASUS Vivobook S 14 (M5406), S 15 (M5506), and S 16 (M5606), have been redesigned for 2024 to be slimmer and lighter. These models feature all-metal chassis, starting at 1.39 cm thick and 1.3 kg. They are powered by up to AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with 50 TOPS, AMD Radeon graphics, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, and up to a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The ASUS IceCool cooling system with enhanced heat pipes, IceBlade fans, and air vents ensures efficient thermal management, maintaining a maximum TDP of 45 W in a slim form factor.

For users looking for a future-ready WiFi 7 router, the RT-BE88U, is a networking powerhouse, delivering wireless speeds up to 7200 Mbps. With Dual-band Multi-Link Operation (MLO), traffic can be intelligently managed, and bandwidth can be aggregated across both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, reducing congestion and maximizing throughput. Aside from these three powerful networking solutions ASUS also showcased a range of other products, such as the RT-BE92U and RT-BE58U, as well as ASUS ZenWiFi BD4 dual-band WiFi 7 mesh routers.
