Sama Gears Bring in Fresh New Case Designs and More Liquid Cooling Options at COMPUTEX 2026

SAMA Gears brought in a pair of new desktop cases and also a pair of new liquid AIO Coolers last COMPUTEX 2026. The four new products are: V70 and V80 for the desktop cases, and Q40 and Q80 for the liquid AIO Coolers. On display at the SAMA Gears booth are their other existing products like the V series air coolers and their affordable, yet efficient power supplies.

SAMA Gears New V Series Desktop Cases

The V80 and V70 are both ATX cases with panoramic glass covers, however they differ in approach to their target audiences. Whereas the V70 follows a more standard fish tank panoramic glass panel design with a single curve corner and solid side panel, the V80 does things a bit differently. The V80 sports a standard ATX chassis design with the PSU at the bottom within a shroud. But it has a double panoramic glass panel having dual curved corners. The front part has a dedicated display platform for showing off your favorite collectible (as long as it fits).

But the V80 doesn’t just stop at a single configuration, there is also a V80 V2 which reduces the coverage of the glass panel, permitting a set of three 120mm reverse fans to be installed on the side, and instead of a display platform, an air duct can be added to let fresh air direct to the GPU.

Now, the V70 follows the more common approach of modern case design: support for top and bottom 3x 120mm fans for a bottom intake top exhaust setup. However, it does use some design elements found in compact mATX cases, what I dub as a “1.5 chamber design” for the PSU on the front side, hidden by a shroud. This reduces the width of the case as the PSU is placed beside the motherboard, which is used to be occupied by the CD/DVD drives up front.

A bottom side fan can be installed below the power supply to supply either fresh air or exhaust (depending on your fan configuration). I’ve reviewed a compact version of this style of internal case design here.

Both new desktop cases have shared features like 60w GaN USB Type C charging, giving us fast charging for our phones, under glow ARGB lighting strips below the case, and preinstalled fans.

The following are the specifications of the two new desktop cases with their SRP (but expect the Philippine market to have a lower price)

SAMA Gears New Q Series Liquid Air Coolers

In the same aspect, the Q40 and Q80 liquid AIOs while both have 360mm radiators, thicker 120mm fans (28mm); the Q40 has a smaller LCD screen with a mechanical rotating ring around the pump block. And the Q80 offers two types of removable LCDs, one square, another rectangle that can be attached on the pump block or on its provided holder/stand.

Other common/shared features between the Q40 and Q80 aside from the listed above are: 450mm tube length, mounting for AM4/AM5 for AMD and LGA 115X/1200/1700/1851 for Intel, and same maximum pump speed of 3000 rpm.

While prices are not publicly shared yet, it was hinted that the Q80 would at least be $129.99 (but for the Philippine market, it may be lower). The Q40 having a smaller LCD display would probably set it to around $100 based on my guess. The spec sheet for the two liquid AIOs are found below.
