During the ASUS Zenvolution event in Taipei, Jam of JAMOnline.ph and I discussed the extraordinary specs of the ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe. I thought it would be the best smartphone to have in 2016. After waiting for months that seems to be eternity, it finally reached our local shores.
According to the Press Release sent to me by ASUS, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe for the Philippine market comes in two variants: the original 5.7″ and surprise, a 5.5″. All I knew for the past months most especially the presentation by ASUS executives last month in Batanes were about two 5.7″ versions (64GB and 256GB priced at P34,995 and P44,995 respectively.)
I’m posting here the updated ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe Specs that will be available for the Philippine Market:

So the 5.7″ with 64GB internal storage will still push through for P34,995.00. Will they still sell the 5.7″ 256GB variant? Knowing ASUS, they will, but it will not be a priority due to its high price.
The 5.5″ variant though is a bit of a downer. Its processor is similar to the ASUS Zenfone 3 and not the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. The screen display uses IPS instead of AMOLED which I prefer more. At least the camera has a higher megapixel count and better sensor, not to forget it is housed in an all-aluminum alloy body. The ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe Price of the 5.5″ variant is P22,995.00.
