The Countdown to the Latest Apple Event Begins

With the clock ticking down the hours to the much anticipated Apple event, the tech grapevine has been full of juicy tidbits about what the new additions to the iPhone family would be.

According to Mashable, the buzz is that the new devices would come in the regular 4.7 inches as well as the phablet size of 5.5 inches, and would be tagged as “iPhone 6” and “iPhone 6L”, respectively. It has also been said that they would sport a sapphire-based screen that would make them more scratch- and crack- resistant.

But we would have to say that the most interesting gossip circling the unveiling would be about the iWatch, supposed images of which were leaked on Reddit. Redditor OwenCarlyle posted that it would have Siri, and although the photos didn’t show the finished product, they were enough to keep Apple fans speculating.

Well, we’ll all just have to wait for Tim Cook to take the stage at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in California in less that 20 hours (1am on Sept. 10 Philippine Time) to see if any of these rumors are true. One thing’s certain though — Apple would give us one heck of a show.

We’ll be live tweeting during the Apple event tonight and if you’re awake and want to know what products Apple is really going to release, then make sure to follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/dronthego), or just come back tomorrow as we are going to post them here on DRontheGo.net.
